Sigilrank Tactics · last updated 30 August 2026

Sigilrank Tactics is a game made by one person. This policy describes exactly what the game collects, where it goes, and what it is used for. It describes the real behaviour of the current build rather than a generic template.

What the game collects

The game creates an account identifier on your own device the first time it runs. It looks like acct-1234567890-4821 and is made from the time and a random number. There is no registration, and the identifier is not issued by any server.

If you send a play report from inside the game, that report includes:

What the game does not collect

Signing in with Google

On Android only, the game offers a “Bind this account” button that signs in with Google Play Games. The game learns one thing from it: whether the sign-in succeeded. It does not receive your Google account name, your email address, a Google identifier, or your password, and it does not store or send anything about the sign-in. The result is used only to label that button in Settings, and it is forgotten when the game closes.

Your play progress is tied to the device-generated identifier described above, not to your Google account. Signing in does not currently move or merge your progress.

Google's own handling of the sign-in is covered by Google's privacy policy.

Where reports go

Play reports are sent to a private machine operated by the developer, reachable only over a private network. They are not sent to an advertising network, an analytics provider, or any other third party, and they are not sold or shared.

The server also records the network address your report arrived from — both alongside the stored report and in its own request log. Because the report address is reachable only over a private network, this is a private-network address rather than a public internet one, and it is not used to locate you.

How long things are kept

Reports are kept for as long as they are useful for fixing the game, and deleted when they are not. There is no fixed retention period, and there is no account database to delete you from — your identifier exists only on your own device and inside reports you chose to send.

Children

The game is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.
